Once upon a time there was a brilliant man. He was called weird, eccentric, and sometimes even strange. He took pride in every one of these names, never allowing the judgment of others to stop him from traveling across the globe to strange and beautiful places while accumulating mountains of stuff.
This man was my dear Uncle Elwyn. He didn't purchase just anything, though. He was more picky than many gave him credit for. Every artifact he purchased he saw a certain charm or value in. One thing he always cared about was sharing his collection with others. When he passed away five years ago and left me much of his estate, I realized there was only one thing to do: make it open to the public. - Sinead Quinn, Museum Curator
