What You're Seeing
The Ebbinghaus illusion shows how surrounding context influences our perception of size. In this illusion, the two central orange circles appear to be different sizes, even though they are actually identical.
The left circle appears larger because it's surrounded by smaller circles, while the right circle appears smaller because it's surrounded by larger circles. This illusion shows how our brain uses relative size comparisons to judge the size of objects.
How to Use
Animate: Moves the two center circles together to meet in the middle, proving they are actually identical in size. Press again during the animation to pause it in the current state.
Hide Outer Circles: Hide the surrounding circles to see the center circles without context, revealing they're the same size.
Reset: Reset the illusion.
