At the Museum of Strange Stuff, we’re dedicated to preserving and sharing the most unusual artifacts, inventions, and curiosities that inspire wonder and spark imagination. As an independent museum, MoSS relies on the support of generous patrons like you to help keep our exhibits fresh, our programs engaging, and our doors open to curious minds. Your donations directly fund the preservation of our collection, the creation of new exhibits, and the growth of our community outreach efforts. Whether you’re a lifelong lover of the strange or a first-time visitor, every contribution helps MoSS continue its mission to celebrate the odd and extraordinary. Thank you for helping us keep the world’s most curious museum alive!
The Museum of Strange Stuff (MoSS) is always on the hunt for the next oddity, rare artifact, or unusual exhibit that can captivate and inspire visitors of all ages. To make this possible, we host various fundraising efforts throughout the year, inviting our community of strange-seekers and supporters to help keep the collection growing. These funds go directly toward preserving our current collection, acquiring new pieces, and creating interactive, educational programs to make each visit unforgettable.
Our annual Curator’s Gala is one of our biggest fundraising events, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at our newest acquisitions and exclusive previews of upcoming exhibits. Attendees enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, themed appetizers, and the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind items in our silent auction, with all proceeds going to support the museum. It's a night where mystery meets excitement, and supporters can see firsthand how their contributions make a difference.
Throughout the year, we also host smaller events such as Mystery Nights and Curiosity Workshops, where visitors can participate in hands-on activities, hear from guest speakers, and explore MoSS in a more intimate setting. These events give us the opportunity to engage with our community while raising funds for ongoing projects. For those unable to attend in person, our Adopt an Artifact program allows anyone, anywhere to sponsor a piece of the museum’s collection, supporting its preservation and care. With each fundraising effort, MoSS continues its mission to preserve the strange and share it with the world, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helps make it possible.
The Museum of Strange Stuff (MoSS) is more than a collection of curiosities—it’s a place for learning, creativity, and connection. Through interactive exhibits, educational programs, and community events, MoSS sparks curiosity and encourages visitors to think beyond the ordinary. We partner with local schools to offer unique learning experiences that make history, science, and art come alive, inspiring young minds to embrace curiosity and ask questions. Our outreach programs and free admission days ensure that MoSS is accessible to everyone, making it a welcoming space for families, students, and visitors from all backgrounds. By celebrating the unusual, MoSS enriches our community, fosters inclusivity, and reminds us all of the value in seeing the world from a new perspective.
