Based in Scituate, Mass, Claudio Monetio has spent decades rendering landscapes and seascapes with incredible precision. From Southwest Harbor, Maine, to Stowe, Vermont, to the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, Monetio paints en plein air, and what emerges are works of art so vivid that they transport you to a place and time where you can practically smell the breeze and feel the sun on your face.

He has also been selected for inclusion in numerous publications, such as Fine Art Connoisseur, Cape Cod Life, Vermont Arts & Living, American Art Review and has also been featured several times in American Art Collector Magazine. Claudio was selected as "Artist of the Year" for "Pops By The Sea" by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. He is also represented in several prestigious galleries, including Quidley & Co. on Nantucket Island.
