In contrast to the over the top paintings, rugs, etc. in the Viceroy apartments are the
recently uncovered parts of the original Norman castle wall. The steps are part of a
"back door" entry to the fortification, starting at the bottom of the moat.
We then toured Christchurch and finished an evening walking around Dublin. The last picture shows a rain cloud looming as the sun sets around 9:30pm; it is light well past 10pm.
