Welcome to the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeast Region (CCSCNE) 2026 Conference! This annual conference brings together computer science educators, students, and professionals from across the Northeast region.

About CCSCNE

The Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeast Region (CCSCNE) is dedicated to promoting excellence in computer science education throughout the Northeast United States. Founded in 1996, CCSCNE brings together educators, students, and industry professionals to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.

We invite submissions for:

  • Papers: Research and pedagogical contributions
  • Panels: Interactive discussions on relevant topics
  • Tutorials: Hands-on learning experiences

  • Faculty Posters: Visual presentations of ongoing work
  • Student Posters: Undergraduate and graduate student research
Programming Contest

Students are invited to participate in our annual programming contest. This is a great opportunity to showcase problem-solving skills and compete with peers from other institutions.

Registration Categories

Faculty: Full conference access including all sessions and meals

Students: Discounted rate with full conference access

Industry: Professional rate for industry participants

Reviewing Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process. Reviewers are selected from the CCSCNE community based on their expertise in relevant areas.

  • Paper Reviews: Double-blind review process with at least 3 reviewers per submission
  • Workshop/Tutorial Proposals: Evaluated on relevance, quality, and educational value
  • Poster Reviews: Assessed for technical merit and presentation quality

Getting to Wheaton College

By Car: Take Route 495 to Exit 10 (Route 123 West)

By Train: MBTA Commuter Rail to Mansfield, then shuttle service

By Air: Logan International Airport (45 minutes) or T.F. Green Airport (30 minutes)

Parking Information

Free parking is available in designated conference lots. Detailed parking maps will be provided with registration materials.

We have arranged special conference rates at several hotels near Wheaton College. Transportation between hotels and the conference venue will be provided.
