My name is Ryan Clark, and I am a senior at Wheaton College. I am a Physics
major and a Mathematics minor. I am the Co-President of the Wheaton Astronomy Club
(you can find us on Engage
and Instagram). I also play drums in a student band called
Vicious Kid (you can find us on Instagram). In addition to
Web Design, I am also taking Statistical and Thermal Physics, Cryptography, and Python this semester.
In my free time, I love to ski, make music, and go hiking. I grew up skiing becasue
of my Dad, who put me on skis pretty much from the moment I could walk. I ski raced from ages 9-17, and competed in the state championship a few times, but unfortunatly
during my senior year of high school, I had a nasty crash and tore my ACL, along with a few other knee injuries. Now,
I just ski recreationally with my family.
I also love music! I listen to all kinds of different artists, and I play guitar, bass, drums, and piano. You can find more
information about music and the guitar specifically on my hobby page from project 1.
My family is very outdoors-y, and in addition to skiing, we also like to go hiking. Some of the hikes we have been on include
Mount Monadnock, Killington Mountain, and El Yunque National Rainforest in Puerto Rico. My favorite hike we have ever been on
was on the Charco Azul river in Puerto Rico. Below are some pictures from that hike (the first two) and some other pictures I've taken as well.
