We talked politics for over an hour, asking more direct questions of the other as we drank. Oh, and the food was just overwhelming in amounts and outstanding in taste. We ate in a private booth and traditional music filled our ears. After dinner they took me on a boat tour on part of the Yangtze River that runs through the old part of the city. Did I mention that the Chinese are wonderful hosts?




















The following day, I started what was to be a 32 hour trip back to Norton, MA, USA: Flight from Nanjing to Shanghai, flight to Chicago, flight to Boston, my ride back home. Grueling? yes; self-inflicted? yes. I'd go again in a heart-beat .... 中国真棒.
