Arsenal Football Club

Arsenal is one of the most successful clubs in England. I have been supporting Arsenal for about 12 years. I started supporting them when coverage of the Premier League came to the United States in 2013. My dad and I had been playing a lot of FIFA 11 to get excited about being able to watch the league when he had a great idea that we should each pick a team to support. My father and I unknowingly picked two rival teams. I chose Arsenal, and my dad picked Tottenham. Both teams are from North London and have one of the most heated rivalries in the Premier League.

Last semester, I was lucky enough to study abroad in the UK. I spent a semester at Sussex University, located in the town of Falmer, which is a short 10-minute train ride from the city of Brighton. While in England, I was fortunate enough to live out one of my biggest dreams: seeing Arsenal play live in person. I got to see them play three different games and score a combined 13 goals. I will never forget these incredible experiences.
