Baking to me is a more fun and less stressful alternative to cooking. You get to make lots of fun foods that can also be touched upon within the creative department for taste, appearance, and uniqueness. Baking is also relatively easier, however the main focus is within the measurements of ingredients as using too much or little of something can change the entire dish.
Baking for me was a way to get closer to my mother as a kid, and steadily grew into something more as I proceeded to get older and get more curious as to what else I could make, especially by myself! As I got older, I also became friends with more and more people who thought it would be a fun group activity (they are both right and wrong) and slowly it became a game of experimentation for us!

Getting involved in baking is easy! I would reccomend doing a simple recipe at first like cookies or bread as these test your patience which is the name of the game when it comes to baking. You should do this to see whether you would rather stick to easier, and more rewarding baked goods like cookies and brownies, and then slowly move up to cakes, breads, and other types of baked goods. Patience is a virtue!
