Looking out our cottage bedroom window, the cows and sheep roam. Because of the mild climate, they never go into a barn!

Dinner times were just lovely. Anne made us local lamb and other great dishes. We'd sit down to eat about 7pm or alil later and sit, eat, and talk until midnight. The sun doesn't go down until 10pm or later ... with the twilight hanging on and on; so lovely. Whiskey and wine were plenty with Marty Early, Anne's workerman (at the head of the table) sharing stories like ...
A guy was looking out e' window of a plane while flying over Ireland and looking down he saw some black dots. He asked Patty, the guy from Ireland sitting next to him, "Patty, what are these black dots?" "Ah, let's see ... ah, those," said Patty. Well, if they are moving, those be crows; if not, they be councilmen."
