I am a member of the faculty at Wheaton College, teaching Computer Science in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

When seeking other ways to describe myself other than as a professor, I come up with the following: I am an alumna of the University of Delaware (PhD in Computer and Information Sciences) and the Williams College class of 1995, (double majoring in Computer Science and English). I used to volunteer with the Southeastern Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of the House Rabbit Society. I made my 15 minutes of fame over writing about being a geek girl, and I'm an incurable science fiction fan.

I have many lapsed hobbies I want to get back to some day, including writing science fiction, riding horses, collecting model equines, playing clarinet, and Scottish country dancing.
