computer science and the liberal arts

Through connected courses, students are encouraged to step outside their primary areas of interest and explore new areas of study. Connected courses relating to computer science include "DNA," a team-taught course with faculty in computer science and biology linked to a Philosophy course in "Ethics." Other course connections include "Graphics, Design, and Web Programming" connected with "Graphics Design" in Art, "Computer Organization" linked to "Electronic Circuits" in Physics, and "Computing for Poets" connected with "Renaissance Poetry" in English.
